Fast growing independent private wealth management firm Koda Capital has boosted the numbers of its advisers with the appointment of three experienced partners. The new advisers have combined industry experience of 65 years and are very well known in the wealth management sector.
Following last month’s appointment of specialists David Knowles and Chris Wilson from JBWere, Koda further strengthens its philanthropy and social capital offering with the appointment of a team of advisers from Macquarie – Simon Duckett and Charles Moore. Mark Pollasky, formerly a Senior Vice President at Morgan Stanley, has also joined Koda as an adviser and partner.
Mr Duckett’s career has spanned more than 20 years at a number of firms, including most recently 13 years at Macquarie. He provides best practice end-to-end investment services to non-profit organisations and high net worth families.
Mr Moore combines over 20 years of commercial and investment markets experience. He joins Koda following 10 years as a senior investment adviser at Macquarie Bank, where he focused on tailoring investment solutions to the needs of private clients and non-profit investors.
With over 25 years of investment experience, Mr Pollasky provides customised and comprehensive wealth management solutions for a wide group of investors, who include business owners and other successful individuals and families. He joins Koda Capital following 14 years with Morgan Stanley Private Wealth, where he was consistently recognised for his work in international investing.
CEO of Koda Capital, Mr Paul Heath said “Simon, Charles, and Mark bring to Koda unique skills sets, which will complement our growing team of experienced advisers, all of whom are committed to our independent and transparent model.
“Koda’s unique value proposition, built around independence and a partnership culture, is generating strong interest amongst advisers and clients who are seeking alternatives to existing wealth management models”, he concluded.
